Our Process

Over the course of the last 20 years, we’ve developed and implemented proprietary processes to help us ensure you receive sound financial advice and diligent service. Furthermore, we’ve created these processes to provide you with a level of comfort in your financial life, allowing you to dedicate your time and energy to your true passions and goals. Once you reach comfort in your financial life, we believe you'll find the pursuit of family, philanthropy, professional goals and balance is significantly more rewarding.

The three most important processes in place are investment planning, investment management, and proactive service.

Investment Planning

Investment planning is the foundation of multi-generational financial success. At Bibler Finney Panfil Private Wealth Management Group, we’re not just creating an investment plan for you – we’re building a living document that's constantly changing and growing. We consider it the heart of your financial success. We implement the plan, review it on a monthly basis, update it as questions arise, and do a comprehensive update of the plan at least annually. Your life changes, so why shouldn't your plan? We simply use planning and the math behind it to show you your different paths so that you can make an educated decision regarding your specific situation.

Investment Management

Our leaders are all portfolio managers and our team meets daily for overnight international market updates and news. On a weekly basis, we discuss macro events that may be relevant to your portfolio and we review fundamental and technical indicators. Each month, we do a deep dive into the outside managers being implemented.

We have the ability to trade discretionary models, along with traditional account types, and this can benefit you because it works toward creating efficiency. Since we know what positions every client owns and why, we're also able to control block trading, which aids execution and pricing. All of this allows us to have direct access to outside fund teams and managers.

Our team currently trades proprietary asset allocation models comprised of mutual funds and exchange traded funds (ETFs).  We also manage individual stock portfolios, including a dividend portfolio, large-cap growth, small & mid-cap (SMID), and an international portfolio. Most clients have a combination of these portfolios to meet their specific goals and risk profile. Furthermore, we also take into consideration legacy and concentrated positions and have the ability to invest in money market funds, CDs, individual stocks, bonds, ETFs, options, structured notes, alternative investments, private equity, variable annuities, fixed annuities, index annuities, and life and long-term care insurance. For a deeper dive into our proprietary process, we welcome you to reach out.

There is a minimum fee to maintain this type of account. Advisory accounts are not designed for excessively traded or inactive accounts and may not be suitable for all investors. During periods of lower trading activity, your costs might be lower if our compensation was based on commissions. Please carefully review the Wells Fargo Advisors advisory disclosures document for a full description of our services, including fees and expenses. Minimum account sizes will apply. There are additional costs associated with certain products & strategies such as private account managers, mutual funds or exchange traded funds. Dividends can be increased, decreased or totally eliminated at any point without notice. The prices of small and mid-cap company stocks are generally more volatile than large company stocks. They often involve higher risks because smaller companies may lack the management expertise, financial resources, product diversification and competitive strengths to endure adverse economic conditions.  Investing in foreign securities presents certain risks not associated with domestic investments, such as currency fluctuation, political and economic instability, and different accounting standards. This may result in greater share price volatility. These risks are heightened in emerging markets. Investors should not buy options unless they are prepared to lose the total amount of premiums and commissions paid. Investors should not sell covered call options unless they are prepared to deliver the related securities at the strike price upon exercise of the option. Alternative investments carry specific investor qualifications which can include high income and net-worth requirements as well as relatively high investment minimums. Available to pre-qualified investors only. Private equities are complex, speculative investment vehicles and are not appropriate for all investors. They are generally open to qualified investors only and carry high cost, substantial risks, and may be highly volatile. There is often limited (or even non-existent) liquidity and lack of transparency regarding underlying assets. They do not represent a complete investment program. Insurance products are offered through nonbank insurance agency affiliated of Wells Fargo & Company and are unaffiliated insurance companies.

Proactive Service

The service platform that Bibler Finney Panfil uses has been developed and refined over the last two decades. We feel service is the key to keeping the planning and investment management working as efficiently as possible so that we can create a level of comfort rarely found in most people's financial lives. We believe most teams in this business say they have a service plan in place, but saying and doing are two very different things.

At Bibler Finney Panfil, our clients – based on their specific needs – will receive a monthly or quarterly call, always scheduled a year in advance, along with quarterly portfolio reviews, annual in-person meetings, and an annual investment plan update. This is the minimum commitment we make to our clients. Additional calls, meetings, plan updates, and more are always welcome.

The "Why"

By committing time to each client a year in advance, we are able to look deeper than other advisors. These calls allow us to stay up-to-date on our clients' changing situations, and we're able to have intimate conversations about all aspects of the financial and personal lives. We enjoy acting as a sounding board with our clients for many matters.

Think about how many times you've received a call from you “broker” unannounced. You may have been in a meeting, out to dinner, visiting with friends, at a child or grandchild’s event, on vacation, etc. It typically makes for a one-sided conversation. At Bibler Finney Panfil, we've found that by dedicating time in advance to our clients, we give them the ability to set time aside to focus on one very important part of their lives. In turn, our clients receive the benefit of a very consistent and comfortable relationship regarding their financial wellbeing.
